Chulalongkorn University’s SATREPS DREAM Area-BCM Project Met Rojana and Hi-Tech to Discuss Progress and Cooperation

Ayutthaya, Thailand – Professor Kenji Watanabe, Principal Investigator of the SATREPS DREAM Area-BCM Project, together with professors and researchers of the project, along with the professors and researchers from Japan: The National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Resilience (NIED), and Fujitsu Research Institute, visited the companies at Rojana Industrial Park and Hi-Tech Industrial Estate in Ayutthaya, Thailand from March 7 to 9, 2023.  The list of visiting companies following:

The purpose of the visit was to present the progress of the project and introduce the Area-BCM toolkit, and to discuss the possibility of implementing a strategic Area-BCM workshop for the companies’ staff. 

  

The visit was successful, and SATREPS DREAM Area-BCM would like to express its gratitude to Rojana Industrial Park and Hi-Tech Industrial Estate for their warm welcome, information sharing, and guidance. We look forward to collaborating on Area-BCM initiatives and working smoothly towards achieving our project goals.

The SATREPS DREAM (Area-BCM) Project is a joint research project between Japan and Thailand under the SENDAI framework for Disaster Risk Reduction. The project is schemed to launch a sustainable economic growth platform through disaster resilience enhancement at Industry complexes in Thailand and input to ISO/TC292 by the year 2023.
